Thoughts on Brian forth

Brian for the presentation was an interesting watch. Learning about what it takes to run a company was a good way to get going on our own business plans. Brian is the CEO of site crafting which is a web design and development company. It was really cool to hear that they work with such big companies like multi care. I think this was a very important presentation as we got to see first hand how a CEO can run a company. Brian forth broke down some aspects of running a company such as how team meetings work and how employees are slowly coming back to in person work. I think this is important to hear because when we run our own companies one day, we would need to know how to manage a team and work with other employees. We also got to hear about the harder times when money is an issue and how they had to downsize a couple times due to lack of funds. I think Brian had a great way of explaining his company and really dog deep into the culture of his company and how he created it. He went into how important it is to create a space for employees to work and stay on task. This gave us great insight for our future businesses as we know how important it is to create a culture where employees are excited to come to work every day and work with others. we learned that site crafting has multiple employees with multiple different roles, such as UXUR developers, software, developers, and many others to help run the company. This helped us understand what kind of employees are needed to run such company and how their positions affect the company and it’s dynamics. Overall, it was a great presentation and I enjoyed listening to it.
